L’As du Fallafel: Located in the Marais area is an all-too-famous falafel shop that is out of this world good. The serving sizes are massive, but you’ll definitely eat it all.
Frenchie To Go: We went here because it’s one of Ina Garten’s favorite restaurants. It’s a tiny spot, but its food and branding is on point. None of us ordered its famed hot dog, but we were fairly pleased with our lunch.
Pierre Herme: Hands down the best macarons I’ve ever had. They are absolutely incredible and far better than Laduree. My favorite flavor? Olive oil and clementine.
Rue Cler Market: Our apartment was located just a few steps away from the market and we had several wonderful meals there. We also picked up fresh veggies and cooked in our apartment a few nights (eating out gets old). Not to mention our daily croissants…
Berthillion Ice Cream: It’s a tiny little shop with delicious ice cream, but I think it was hyped up a little too much. Van Leeuwen is still number one in my book.
There are a ton of places that I wish we would have gone to, but time and convenience made most of our dining decisions.
