Ideal Saturday: Brooklyn

Ideal Satruday: Brooklyn

Good morning everyone! I thought today would be the perfect day to introduce a new series: Ideal Saturday. The number one request I receive is for things to do in New York so I thought this would be the perfect way to share some of my favorite things to do in the city!

Itinerary

MORNING: Hail a cab or take an Uber over to Williamsburg.

MIDDAY: Smorgasburg opens up at 11 and you’ll want to block off a few hours of wandering around and trying out all the vendors. My picks? The ramen burger, brunch on a stick and a frozen Arnold Palmer.

AFTERNOON: After you’re full from Smorgasburg walk a couple blocks over to Brooklyn Bowl and order a few pitchers to cool off. It’s $25 per 1/2 hour, but totally worth it. After Brooklyn Bowl you can walk over to Ample Hills Creamery and order their famous munchies ice cream.

DINNER: Swing by Emmy’s Squared for amazing pizza or Lilia, if you’re feeling a little fancy.

NIGHT: Watch the sunset and enjoy some drinks at Output, a rooftop bar in the heart of Williamsburg.

Lately

Lately

Here’s what I’ve been up to lately…

  • TRYING to get out of a blog rut. Is there anything you want to see on here or on social?
  • LOVING Spotify. I know this may sound crazy, but I finally downloaded Spotify and can’t stop making playlists.
  • REMEMBERING the good times. My childhood dog passed away a few weeks ago and I haven’t been quite right since.
  • SHOPPING the Net-a-Porter sale. I nabbed these jeans for $75.
  • ANTICIPATING the weekend. Friends are flying in and we have so many fun plans, including a trip to Mr. Purple.
  • WATCHING The Bachelorette, Suits and my favorite Gilmore Girl episodes before the reboot.

Date Night

Date Night Outfit InspoIt’s been quite some time since I’ve made an outfit collage, but after spotting this dress at Intermix last week, I knew it was time. Yes, these items are very expensive, but I’ve linked similar, less expensive items, and that dress is bound to go on sale within a month or so… and who said a gal can’t dream?
